Friday, November 29, 2019 will be a day to remember at 189, as Jamaica College walked away with their 30th Manning Cup title. After a uneventful 90 minute tussle, JC delivered a stunning upset which left St. Andrew Technical fans in tears, defeating STATS 5-4 in penalty shots.
This is Jamaica College’s 30th Manning Cup title spanning 110 years of participation in the nation’s secondary school football competition. Celebrations continued the following week with the presentation of the cup to the school body on Monday and special visits from Dr. Peter Phillips and the Ardenne High School choir on Tuesday.
