The Guidance department and the PTA of Jamaica College staged their first PTA Symposium. A lot of interesting information was shared, lots of giveaways and tons of fun.
Universities gave tips on scholarships that can be applied for and the correct attitude of the students who will matriculate to UWI, UTECh etc.
Health aspect was covered by the importance of knowing your ‘numbers’ were emphasized. Checking the state of your heart, blood sugar, cholesterol etc.
The Blue beat drummers and the JC school band brought to us the entertainment. They were excellent.
Celebrating Parent’s Month, the symposium was held on November 30, 2023 in the Auditorium.
