Jamaica College Celebrates Heritage Day in True Cultural Style

Kingston, Jamaica — Jamaica College came alive with vibrant colors, rhythmic sounds, and a deep sense of pride as students and staff celebrated Heritage Day under the theme of Black Heritage and Cultural Identity.

The campus was transformed into a lively display of Jamaican culture, with participants proudly dressed in traditional bandana fabric and colorful dashikis — a fitting tribute to the island’s African roots and rich cultural legacy. The event created an atmosphere of unity, appreciation, and reflection on what it means to be Jamaican.
