JC Summer Term 2024 Honour Roll: Student Highlights


The Summer Term of 2024 at Jamaica College has showcased exceptional talent and academic dedication from our students. We are proud to recognize those who have earned their place on the Honour Roll and Commendable List for their hard work and outstanding performance. These students have demonstrated not only excellence but also a commitment to furthering their academic journey.

First Form

  • Honour Roll (80%-100%):
    • Jeremiah James (85.70%) and Zachary O’Connor (85.13%) are the shining stars of the First Form. Jeremiah’s drive and discipline have propelled him to the top, earning him a well-deserved place on the Honour Roll. Zachary, with his unwavering focus, has shown his true potential and has proven himself a dedicated scholar. These two students set an excellent example for their peers to follow.
    • Notable Mentions: Christoff Legister, Zaydin Dawkins, and others who have demonstrated exceptional performance, with averages over 80%. These students have worked tirelessly to maintain strong academic standards and should be proud of their achievements.
  • Commendable List (74%-79%):
    • Jhodan Gregory (79.22%) and Caleb Rose (78.74%) have shown significant improvement and dedication, making them stand out on the Commendable List. Jhodan’s perseverance has led him to the cusp of the Honour Roll, while Caleb’s consistent efforts reflect his strong academic foundation. These students have made remarkable strides and have proven their ability to rise to challenges.
    • Several others also performed admirably, coming close to Honour Roll status and displaying commendable effort.

Second Form

  • Honour Roll (80%-100%):
    • Jordan McPherson (88.88%) and Kristof Chambers (88.32%) have truly excelled this term. Jordan’s disciplined study habits and passion for learning have made him a standout student, while Kristof’s exceptional work ethic and determination have placed him among the top performers. Together, they represent the high standards we aspire for all students at Jamaica College.
    • Khaden Robinson, Roshaun Daley, and Cordell Williams also earned a place on the Honour Roll with their impressive averages, reflecting their commitment to academic excellence.
  • Commendable List (74%-79%):
    • Kyeel Shaw (76.72%) and Kole Tomlinson (76.16%) have proven themselves to be hardworking and consistent students. Kyeel’s academic improvement and Kole’s steadfast dedication to his studies make them deserving of recognition on the Commendable List.

Third Form

  • Honour Roll (80%-100%):
    • Luke Smith (85.19%) and Li-Andre Austin (84.87%) are two students who have consistently demonstrated their academic brilliance. Luke’s meticulous attention to detail in his work has set him apart, while Li-Andre’s intellectual curiosity and dedication to learning have earned him a place on the Honour Roll. They both serve as inspirations for their peers.
    • Yato Hyman, Keianjúie Williams, and others have also achieved excellence, maintaining averages well above 80%, which speaks to their hard work and dedication.
  • Commendable List (74%-79%):
    • Christoffe Lee (79.29%) and Giordane Robertson (79.32%) have shown remarkable effort and growth. Their consistency and academic strength have made them key performers in their class.
    • Many others, including Raheim Longmore and Marquis Stanley, have demonstrated strong academic potential, earning their place on the Commendable List through hard work and perseverance.

Fourth Form

  • Honour Roll (80%-100%):
    • Shakury Fuller (85.14%) and Zack-Andre Johnson (83.43%) have proven themselves to be some of the brightest students in their year group. Shakury’s dedication to his studies and his academic discipline are exemplary, while Zack-Andre’s hard work and resilience have earned him a place on the Honour Roll. They continue to set the bar high for academic excellence.
    • Jordan Morgan and Hensley Marsh also displayed impressive academic achievements, keeping their averages above 80%. Their consistency and commitment to their studies are admirable.
  • Commendable List (74%-79%):
    • Jonathan Brown (78.64%) and Jadon Davis (78.71%) are both deserving of recognition for their outstanding academic efforts. Jonathan’s attention to detail and Jadon’s determination have helped them perform consistently well throughout the term.

This term’s recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the students at Jamaica College. These young scholars have shown great potential, and their achievements are a reflection of their commitment to excellence.
