In what has shaped up to be a spectacular season of lacrosse, Jamaica College failed to advance to the finals of the Taino Cup after losing to St. George’s College in the semi-finals yesterday. The match which kicked off at 4 pm at the St. Hugh’s campus ended in a 14 – 6 defeat for the Blue Flames.
St. George’s will play Calabar, who defeated their North Street competitors, Kingston College, in a 15 – 8 score. JC will compete against KC for third place this Saturday, March 2nd @1pm, followed by the finals for the coveted Taino Cup @4pm
