Old Boys Donate Projectors

To our generous donors, the class of 1995, Hari Rock is the group leader of the Class of 1995 and Captain Wayne Harris who represents the class of 1993 and the JC Old boys of the New York Chapter:

We extend our deepest gratitude for your donation of 6 projectors this week. This contribution will significantly enhance our students’ learning experience, providing them with access to cutting-edge technology and enriching their educational journey.

Your unwavering support directly impacts our ability to provide a high-quality education to our boys, and we are truly grateful for your commitment to our school and its students. Thank you again for your generosity and partnership.

Captain Harris message to the Old Boys of 1995…
“Gentlemen, the school really appreciates the projectors. I just want to say thank you for your contribution and presence at devotion this morning.

It’s a struggle for every teacher to get a projector for class. The school cannot provide that. It’s usually issued on a first come, first serve basis.

Now, the school can sign out a projector to a department and let them issue it out accordingly.

Ideally, we would want one for every class. No doubt your contribution will definitely impact the boys’ education at The College. Let’s maintain our momentum of camaraderie and support for the College.

One one cocoa full basket.”

System Administrator, Dawn MacGregor-Bromfield, would like to add her thanks.
“We were given some projectors from The eLearning Company in 2010, of which most have done its ‘life’. Since the STEAM Infusion and the thrust to have engaging classes, the requests increased for projectors/Smart TVs. The need increased and the number of working projectors decreased. The ICT staff expressed the increasing need to the Principal and by extension, the Old Boys. Since the pandemic we are grateful for 5 projectors that had been donated over the years. Unfortunately, we could not satisfy the need. The Mentorship program began 3 years ago and placed added need for devices to allow mentors from overseas to address the students. Captain Wayne Harris was notified that more devices were required to fill this new objective.

The New York Chapter assisted in getting a couple of projectors in for us and in streamlining this current input of 6 more projectors from the Old boys of 1995 and Captain Harris of 1993.

The funds from Dr. Joseph Tait allowed us to add one more to our stock in January of this year, 2025. We thank you all.”

Thanks again to all – Fervet
