Lots of excitement at Jamaica College for the Summer
This year we have again, multiple Summer programmes in concurrent play. JC Summer School with a fresh approach of focusing academically on Mathematics and English Language. The activities thereafter are teaching life skills and having fun.
SCIENCE SUMMER SESSION
One of our summer school classes. This is our Science class facilitated by Mr. Leslie Bryan and the engagement across all his classes was really good.
They were learning about force, momentum, impact velocity, and shock absorption. The challenge was to apply what they have learnt and drop the egg from upstairs on the 4th form block without breaking it.
What an excitement to see their experiment outcome being successful.
This is what learning is all about.
SUMMER CREATIVE ARTS
Groups of 4th, 5th and intervention students rotate to finish their mural over 3 weeks.
There was a set back but they pushed through, true blue style and did not give up.
So much FUN!!!
