Fantastic job! Congratulations to our 2023-2024 LaCrosse team!
With utmost pride and admiration for the exceptional effort displayed by the boys in their match against George’s. Their remarkable progress since the 3-6 loss earlier in the season culminated in a monumentally historic, double-overtime thriller – a first in Jamaica high school lacrosse history. Although the final score was 5-6 in favor of George’s, the boys’ performance was truly outstanding. The match was intense, with numerous nail-biting moments. Despite the disappointing outcome, we should take immense pride in their remarkable growth, determination, and resilience. The team faced numerous challenges, including many questionable referee calls and send offs, but they maintained their composure and grit, giving their absolute best effort. In fact, this was arguably the best I’ve ever seen them play. The boys will have another chance to shine on Saturday as they compete against Wolmer’s Boys for third place. They could really use the support once more. Please support the third-place match coming this Saturday, March 22.
